From Zhang Xue's Motorcycle Racing Championship Victory to the Development of Sihong's Automotive and Motorcycle Parts Industry

Recently, Zhang Xue Motorcycles secured back-to-back victories at the Portugal round of the World Superbike Championship (WSBK), achieving a dominant margin of 3.685 seconds and marking a historic breakthrough for Chinese motorcycle manufacturers in WSBK. This milestone represents the first time a Chinese brand has stood atop the world’s premier racing podium, propelling the entire Chinese motorcycle industry from scale to strength and sparking widespread online attention on the sector.

Looking back at Sihong County, we have cultivated the automotive and motorcycle parts industry for over 30 years—growing from nothing to becoming a regional powerhouse. Today, the industry stands as a key strategic sector in the city, attracting more than 300 automotive and motorcycle component manufacturing enterprises. The county has established over 60 national high-tech enterprises, with product varieties exceeding 100,000. A comprehensive component ecosystem has taken shape, covering core systems in automobiles—including drivetrain, cooling, braking, and electrical systems—and advanced motorcycle components such as precision castings, electronic instruments, brake system assemblies, critical engine parts, wheels, tires, and suspension systems. Sihong has now become a nationally recognized hub for automotive and motorcycle parts manufacturing.

Founded in 2021, the company is backed by Zhejiang Libang Hexin Intelligent Braking Co., Ltd.—a national pilot enterprise for intelligent manufacturing and one of Zhejiang Province’s top 50 industrial firms. The company specializes in manufacturing automotive and motorcycle braking systems and aluminum alloy casting products, with large-scale R&D and production capabilities for integrated braking systems across internal combustion vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, and new energy vehicles. As a global leader in integrated braking systems, it maintains long-term partnerships with renowned international brands including Zhongshen, Wuyang-Honda, China Light Industry Group, Xin Dasheng, and Niu Technologies. In 2025, the company will further expand its footprint in Sihong by acquiring additional land and significantly increasing its local production and R&D capacity.
